About this Speaker

Melynda is a wife and mother to three little boys, two recently adopted. She is an entrepreneur at heart and has a passion for freedom of time and living your best life. ‘Every second is precious’ is her mantra so spending time wisely is her motivation. She launched her initial business in 2001 to help businesses grow utilizing marketing, PR, and events. Since then, the industry has evolved to powerfully incorporate social media. In 2011 she was a founding member of the JetBlue Airways social media team and helped grow their reputation and following over the next four years. She then relocated to Southern Utah and continued running her business, including event production around the state. Her main focus is her children and family but she also has a desire to support, encourage, and promote small business owners, artisans, and female entrepreneurs, always with relationships being top priority. To help juggle it all she created a planner especially for the busy parent/business owner called Focus Planner. Just this month she launched a podcast called Brie & Chocolate to help tell the stories of inspiring people, hoping to help others find better and more effective ways to reach out and help each other.
